When it’s alright to pick at your food……

Poaching eggs is a fast healthy way to prepare breakfast. My favorite way to eat them is in a not so healthy Eggs Benedict. However, the serving suggestion in this video is good for you and delicious. Use a shallow saucepan filled with water and a tablespoon of vinegar. The key is to keep the water at a mild simmer. Rapid boiling will tear apart the eggs.

Roll out some fondant and make some cake pop roses. Fondant is like Play Dough, but made of sugar. It’s very easy to use and fun to create fancy, edible treats.

Don’t be intimidated by fresh pasta. It’s easy to make and considerably better tasting than boxed pasta. You don’t have a pasta cutter? Simply roll out the dough with a rolling pin and cut the dough with a pizza cutter and a ruler. You might just find you’ll fall in love with fresh pasta!

Maybe you love making fresh pasta and just haven’t made any in a while. Here is a little inspirational video to get you back in the kitchen.

Get the shrimp scampi recipe following the pasta making portion of the video.

1 1/2 minute video for making marshmallow frosting. This frosting is best used the same day you make it. After time goes by, the marshmallow breaks down and loses its silky texture. The video features a S’mores cupcake but this frosting will pair nicely with any flavor cake.

1 1/2 minute video tutorial for making and baking hamburger buns. Eat fresh or freeze for up to a month. Thaw frozen buns under a towel for about an hour or defrost in the microwave. “Refresh” in a 350 degree oven for 4-7 minutes. You’ll never know they weren’t baked that day.
